Full professor of Economic Policy at Università degli Studi di Brescia, her field of interest has been demand of labour and investment where decisions have been studied in a panel of Italian companies.

Among her most recent publications, in 2008, "Investment and Time to Plan and Build: A Comparison of Structures vs. Equipment in a Panel of Italian Firms", with Marzio Galeotti, Charles P.Himmelberg and Paola Rota, published in the Journal of the European Economic Association,  and "Non-convexities in the Adjustment of Different Capital Inputs: A Firm Level Investigation" with Marzio Galeotti e Paola Rota, in European Economic Review.
